Single-minded devotion

I think this short sentence kind of says it all.

Anything that dims my vision for Christ, or takes away my taste for Bible study, or cramps me in my prayer life, or makes Christian work difficult, is wrong for me; and I must, as a Christian turn away from it.

    This statement truly does say how we should approach our relationship with God.

      It certainly does, Allen. For me, it gives me a standard by which to measure all of my activities. Something doesn’t necessarily have to be bad to keep you from God.
